FAQ

Common questions.

What is Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design?

CPTED uses design, property management, visibility, access control, territorial reinforcement, and related strategies to reduce opportunities for crime.

Do you only assess properties with existing crime problems?

No. Assessments can be proactive and are useful before renovations, after a change in property use, or when planning future security improvements.

Will the report tell us what to address first?

Yes. Recommendations can be prioritized by urgency, cost, operational impact, and longer-term investment needs.

Do you install cameras or security equipment?

Ad Astra is positioned as an independent consulting and assessment service so recommendations can focus on client needs rather than product sales.
